St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. Joseph-Ogden moves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host St. Anne (St. Anne, IL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-15. St. Anne lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Beecher (Beecher, IL)

The Eagles now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a Illini Prairie test on Tuesday, October 8. Rantoul will clash with a Saints team coming off a 1-1 league St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Saints record now stands at 7-8.
