The Princeton Tigers triumphed over the visiting Novinger Wildcats softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO) in a Class 1 District 16 challenge, on Monday, October 7. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Benton (St. Joseph, MO).

The Wildcats (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Atlanta (Atlanta, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Atlanta was routed by Brashear (Brashear, MO), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
