In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Mound-Westonka White Hawks.
The Red Knights (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans enter the Metro West challenge with a 7-12 record.
Next, the White Hawks meet the Delano Tigers (Delano, MN) in a Wright County East challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Mound-Westonka will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 24-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
