In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Bogan Bengals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies.

The Bengals (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dyett (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the Chicago Public Blue South challenge with a 1-5 record.

Next, the Huskies play the Englewood Stem Panthers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Blue South challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL).
