In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting De La Salle Cavalier volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Booker T. Washington Lions.

The Cavalier (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA). The Chambered Nautilus enter the Division III District 9 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, New Orleans Charter Science & Math was beaten by Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Patterson (Patterson, LA).
