In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting West Prairie Cyclones volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans.

The Cyclones (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL). The Suns enter the non-league challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, Augusta Southeastern beat Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) in a Prairieland South challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Bushnell-Prairie City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL).
