The Cougars (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake View (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the Chicago Public Red North challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Lake View beat Senn (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers meet the Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Red North challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Mather will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL).
