The Westlake Academy Blacksmiths prevailed the visiting Covenant Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Blacksmiths confront the Johnson County Sports Association Lions (Cleburne, TX) in a Division 1 game, on Tuesday, October 8. Westlake Academy will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Texas Wind (Waco, TX).

The Knights (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Eagles enter the TAPPS 4A District 2 game with a 21-6 record.
