The St. Joseph Catholic Eagles topped the host Dime Box Longhorns volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles face the Faith West Academy Eagles (Katy, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 game, on Thursday, October 10. St. Joseph Catholic will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 16-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Calvary Baptist (Conroe, TX).
The Longhorns (8-13) will now prepare for their game against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 21-9 record. In their last game, Fayetteville gained a win over Prairie Lea (Prairie Lea, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
