Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) and the host Greenway Raiders (Coleraine, MN), observed Grand Rapids's volleyball team top Greenway by a count of 3-1.

The Thunderhawks (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Legacy Christian Academy notched a victory over Spectrum (Elk River, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Raiders battle the Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida Ogichida (Cloquet, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Greenway will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Ogichida enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).
