In Thursday's league challenge, the host Indian River Braves volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the King's Fork Bulldogs.
The Braves (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Woodside beat Bethel (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. King's Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA).
