The Pellston Hornets volleyball squad (Pellston, MI), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI)

With the win, Inland Lakes improves its record to 17-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pickford (Pickford, MI) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 6-14.

The Hornets now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mancelona for a Ski-Valley battle on Tuesday, October 8. Pellston will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 3-1 league win over St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Ironmen record now stands at 4-11.
