The Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers volleyball squad (Joppa, IL), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Northside Baptist Christian Lions (Mayfield, KY)

With the win, Northside Baptist Christian improves its record to 1-1 on the season.

The Rangers now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Century for a South Egyptian battle on Tuesday, October 8. Joppa-Maple Grove will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Egyptian (Tamms, IL). The Centurions record now stands at 11-9.
