The Langford Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Waubay/Summit Mustangs to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Wilmot for a B Region 1 outing on Monday, October 7. Langford will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Waubay/Summit drops to 1-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to play the Braves in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Braves come into the outing with a record of 12-6. Britton-Hecla lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Milbank (Milbank, SD)
