In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lindblom Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Solorio Sun Warriors.

The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Back of the Yards College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Bobcats come into the Chicago Public Red South challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Back of the Yards College Prep was beaten by Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Sun Warriors meet the Little Village Phoenix (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Red South challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Solorio will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Curie (Chicago, IL).
