The Northgate Broncos prevailed the host Miramonte Matadors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Broncos confront the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 5. Northgate will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 24-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Amador (Sutter Creek, CA).

The Matadors (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Eagles enter the Diablo-Foothill game with a 15-6 record. In their last game, Berean Christian was dropped by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
