Colorado High School Volleyball - Monte Vista tips South Park

October 3, 2024: Fairplay, CO 80440

The Monte Vista Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Park Burros to 2 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Trinidad for a 2A Southern Peaks outing on Tuesday, October 8. Monte Vista will play a Miners team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO). The Miners record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, South Park drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Burros travel to Del Norte (Del Norte, CO) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 11-1. Del Norte won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Center (Center, CO)
