Connecticut High School Volleyball - Waterbury Career Academy crushed by Naugatuck

In Thursday's league match, the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Waterbury Career Academy Spartans (Waterbury, CT), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley match, on Friday, October 4. Naugatuck will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 11-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).

The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Derby (Derby, CT). The Red Raiders go into the Naugatuck Valley game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Derby gained a win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT), 3-1, in a league game.
