Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) and the host Swett Warriors (Crockett, CA), observed Salesian College Preparatory's volleyball team top Swett by a tally of 3-0.

The Pride (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans enter the Tri-County contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Pinole Valley was beaten by Saint Mary's (Albany, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County contest, on Monday, October 7. Swett will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Oilers enter the contest with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA).
