The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center football team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Central Decatur Cardinals to 6 in the league win on Friday.
In their next game, the face the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) in a A District 7 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 32-6 league loss to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA).
The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Bulldogs come into the A District 7 test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Riverside bounced St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 55-26, in a non-league challenge.
