In Friday's league match, the host Mount Ayr Raiders football squad scored a good 32-6 triumph over the AHSTW Vikings.
The Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines come into the A District 7 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Nodaway Valley was beaten by Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 42-0, in a league battle.
The Vikings now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center for a A District 7 battle on Friday, October 10. AHSTW will play a team coming off a 49-6 league win over Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The record now stands at 6-0.
