Minnesota High School Football - Albert Lea can't hold off St. Peter

October 3, 2025: Albert Lea, MN 56007

St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Albert Lea Tigers (Albert Lea, MN), 26-21 in a non-league test.

The Saints now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Ulm for a Southeast Central - Red test on Friday, October 10. St. Peter will face a Eagles team coming off a 28-22 non-league loss to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays enter the Southeast Central - Red challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Waseca held off Worthington (Worthington, MN), 42-13, in a league challenge.
