The Lawton-Bronson Eagles football squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting Alta-Aurelia Warriors to 22 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinton for a 1A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 10. Lawton-Bronson will face a Blackhawks team coming off a 54-14 league win over Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-3.
The Warriors (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridge View (Holstein, IA). The Raptors enter the 1A District 1 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Ridge View was overwhelmed by West Lyon (Inwood, IA), 48-7, in a league outing.
