    The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) and the host Atascocita Eagles (Humble, TX), saw Summer Creek's football team nip Atascocita by a final score of 38-35.

    With the win, Summer Creek advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host King (Houston, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. King won 70-20 in their recent league bout against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX)

    The Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Humble for a 6A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, October 10. Atascocita will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 32-21 league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
