Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI), 48-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hamady upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Lutheran (Westland, MI) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, October 10. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 1-5. Lutheran lost 20-7 in their recent league match against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI)

The Wolverines (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Bentley (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Genesee Area test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Bentley triumphed over Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI), 50-18, in a non-league test.
