Alabama High School Football - Huntsville nips Austin

October 3, 2025: Huntsville, AL 35801

Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) and the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), saw Huntsville's football squad edge Austin by a tally of 21-17.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Aggies enter the 7A Region 4 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Albertville got by Grissom (Huntsville, AL), 20-18, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Black Bears confront the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) in a 7A Region 4 contest, on Friday, October 10. Austin will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 29-26 league loss to Sparkman (Harvest, AL).
