North Carolina High School Football - Bandys defeats Foard

October 3, 2025: Newton, NC 28658

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) and the host Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), witnessed Bandys's football squad topple Foard by a count of 20-0.

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the Western Foothills 4A/5A battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, North Lincoln was topped by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 42-22, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host East Lincoln for a Western Foothills 4A/5A battle on Friday, October 10. Foard will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 41-14 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-0.
