The Maine Central Institute Huskies were victorious over the visiting Belfast Lions football team by a score of 37-27 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) in a D North outing, on Saturday, October 11. Maine Central Institute will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Black Raiders come into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 38-0 non-league win over Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME).
With the defeat, Belfast drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a D North outing on Friday, October 10. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 5-0. John Bapst Memorial won 47-20 in their recent league outing against Maranacook (Readfield, ME)
