Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Bridge Creek Bobcats (Blanchard, OK), 40-20 in a league match.
The Red Tornadoes (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Elk City (Elk City, OK). The Elks come into the 4A District 1 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Elk City went down by Elgin (Elgin, OK), 54-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bobcats meet the Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) in a 4A District 1 match, on Friday, October 10. Bridge Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Owls come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 54-7 league win over Elk City (Elk City, OK).
