Ohio High School Football - Independence defeats Brooklyn

October 3, 2025: Brooklyn, OH 44144

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the host Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH), witnessed Independence's football squad topple Brooklyn by a count of 28-6.

The Blue Devils (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The Warriors enter the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Fairview overcame Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH), 30-13, in a league battle.

The Hurricanes now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a Chagrin Valley - Metro match on Friday, October 10. Brooklyn will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 48-7 league win over Beachwood (Beachwood, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.
