Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Clever Blue Jays (Clever, MO) and the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MO), saw Clever's football team prevail over Buffalo by a final score of 48-26.

With the win, Clever advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Blue Jays travel to Hollister (Hollister, MO) to encounter the Tigers in a Mid-Lakes bout on Friday, October 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Hollister lost 48-18 in their recent league bout against Strafford (Strafford, MO)

The Bison now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Springfield Catholic for a Mid-Lakes contest on Friday, October 10. Buffalo will confront a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 36-15 league win over Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-0.
