The Hanks Knights felled the host Burges Mustangs football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's league challenge.

With the defeat, Burges drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to meet the Scorpions in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 10. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 0-5. Horizon lost 58-6 in their recent league test against Andress (El Paso, TX)
