The Timberland Wolves football squad scored 74 points and limited the visiting Burke Bulldogs to 0 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academic Magnet for a AA Region 6 test on Friday, October 10. Timberland will meet a Raptors squad coming off a 42-0 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, SC). The Raptors record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Burke drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC) to face the Iron Horses in a AA Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Iron Horses enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Philip Simmons won 39-14 in their recent league challenge against Woodland (Dorchester, SC)
