Oregon High School Football - Umatilla overwhelmed by Burns

The Burns Hilanders walloped the visiting Umatilla Vikings football team by a score of 62-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hilanders face the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Burns will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 42-21 league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR).
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their test against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers come into the 3A Special District 6 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, McLoughlin was overwhelmed by Vale (Vale, OR), 63-0, in a league test.
