The Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN) football trounced the visiting Fulton Falcons (Knoxville, TN), 49-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Green Hornets now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin-East for a non-league game on Friday, October 17.

The Falcons (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Eagles enter the 4A Region 2 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Gibbs overwhelmed Anderson County (Clinton, TN), 35-28, in a league game.
