Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 49-7 in a league match.

The Lions (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAA Region 3 match with a 3-4 record.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 match, on Friday, October 10. Starr's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 38-7 league loss to Griffin (Griffin, GA).
