In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Chamberlain Cubs football team scored a nice 24-16 win over the Parker Pheasants.
With the win, Chamberlain advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cubs host Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central (Woonsocket, SD) to play the Blackhawks in a Southeastern South Dakota battle on Friday, October 10. The Blackhawks go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central won 33-0 in their recent league battle against Miller/Highmore/Harrold (Miller, SD)
