The Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ) football tipped the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), 7-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Raiders now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Estrella Foothills for a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. Cibola will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 42-20 league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 5-1.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets battle the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Desert bout, on Friday, October 10. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 21-7 non-league loss to Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA).
