Maryland High School Football - City College loses to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech

Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host City College Black Knights (Baltimore, MD), 42-14 in a non-league match.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Dunbar (Baltimore, MD). The Poets come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record.

Next up, the Black Knights play the Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. City College will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Poets go into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 58-0 non-league win over Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD).
