The Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) football tipped the visiting Scott Eagles (Covington, KY), 38-35 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) in a 3A District 7 game, on Friday, October 10. Clay County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 34-7 league loss to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY).

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Boone County (Florence, KY). The Rebels come into the 5A District 5 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Boone County was nipped by Conner (Hebron, KY), 53-14, in a league outing.
