Texas High School Football - Clemens thwarted by San Marcos

San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX), 30-13 in a league battle.

With the win, San Marcos improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Rattlers host East Central (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, October 10. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 1-5. East Central lost 49-0 in their recent league battle against Steele (Cibolo, TX)

The Buffaloes now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a 6A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, October 10. Clemens will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 28-7 league win over Johnson (Buda, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
