Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Maricopa Indians (Maricopa, CA), 40-22 in a league match.

The Broncos (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Cuyama Valley (New Cuyama, CA). The Bears come into the Coast Valley (8 Man) match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Cuyama Valley defeated San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA), 54-50, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA) in a Coast Valley (8 Man) challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Maricopa will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Conquerors go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 69-0 league loss to Valley Christian Academy (Santa Maria, CA).
