Michigan High School Football - Vandercook Lake crushed by Columbia Central

The Columbia Central Golden Eagles football squad scored 60 points and limited the visiting Vandercook Lake Jayhawks to 13 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jonesville for a Cascades - West test on Friday, October 10. Columbia Central will meet a Comets squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Addison (Addison, MI). The Comets record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Vandercook Lake drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Jayhawks host Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI) to meet the Comets in a Cascades - West test on Friday, October 10. The Comets come into the test with a record of 4-2. Hanover-Horton won 54-6 in their recent league challenge against Homer (Homer, MI)
