The Hopkins Vikings football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Comstock Park Panthers to 20 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holland for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Friday, October 10. Hopkins will meet a Dutch squad coming off a 49-19 league loss to Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI). The Dutch record now stands at 2-4.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Rockets go into the Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Kelloggsville toppled Hopkins (Hopkins, MI), 30-22, in a league challenge.
