The Covington Trojans football team (Covington, IN), was crushed 45-8 in Friday's league bout with the host Seeger Patriots (West Lebanon, IN)

With the win, Seeger advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Patriots host South Vermillion (Clinton, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a Wabash River match on Friday, October 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-5. South Vermillion lost 51-6 in their recent league match against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN)

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a Wabash River match, on Friday, October 10. Covington will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Red Ramblers go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 59-6 league loss to Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN).
