The Crestwood Comets were victorious over the host Hazleton Area Cougars football team by a score of 42-15 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Comets clash with the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 test, on Friday, October 10. Crestwood will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 35-13 league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA).
