Maryland High School Football - Crossland defeats Friendly

October 3, 2025: Fort Washington, MD 20744

Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 28-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Crossland advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Cavaliers host Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD) to encounter the Hornets in a Class 2A East battle on Saturday, October 11. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 2-3. Fairmont Heights lost 39-6 in their recent league match against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD)

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD) in a Class 2A1A South match, on Saturday, October 11. Friendly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 43-0 non-league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).
