The Dubuque Senior Rams were victorious over the visiting Jefferson Hawks football team by a score of 21-10 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams face the Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA) in a 5A Group 5 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Dubuque Senior will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 63-20 league loss to Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA).
The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Group 5 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Bettendorf was defeated by Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA), 35-11, in a league test.
