The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) and the host Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK), witnessed Duncan's football squad knock off Southeast by a tally of 44-14.
The Demons (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders go into the 5A District 1 bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, MacArthur overcame Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK), 61-0, in a league bout.
The Spartans now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Classen SAS for a 5A District 1 bout on Thursday, October 9. Southeast will encounter a Comets team coming off a 61-0 league loss to MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Comets record now stands at 0-5.
