The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals (Maryville, TN) and the host Tellico Plains Bears (Tellico Plains, TN), witnessed Eagleton College & Career Academy's football squad knock off Tellico Plains by a tally of 33-7.
The Royals (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Polk County gained a win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN), 28-12, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Bears battle the Harriman Blue Devils (Harriman, TN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Tellico Plains will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 64-6 league loss to Coalfield (Coalfield, TN).
